Macworld/iWorld is on the move, at least on the calendar. Jeff and Bryan take a look at what's up with IDG rescheduling the annual conference for 2014, what that means for exhibitors and attendees, and whether or not the move is a good thing. They also have some thoughts about what may be in store for iOS 7, and even manage to invent a new animal.

It's time to update your Macworld/iWorld 2014 calendar because the event is moving from the beginning of February to March 27 through March 29. The new dates also come with a venue change to San Francisco's Moscone North from Moscone West where the event has been held for the past few years.

Jeff Gamet, The Mac Observer's Managing Editor, will be speaking at the Colorado Macintosh User Group meeting on Thursday, February 14, in Boulder, Colorado. Jeff will be talking about this year's Macworld/iWorld conference and expo.

The Mac Observer's Editors Choice Awards from Macworld/iWorld Expo 2013 are out and just like previous years, there were plenty of great products that caught our collective eye. We chose 11 products that we feel represent the best of what was shown at the conference and expo for the Mac, iPhone and iPad.

Dave and John were out in San Francisco last week and recorded a Mac Geek Gab live from the Macworld/iWorld show floor. They took questions from listeners in a "Stump The Geek" style, and also shared some of the Cool Stuff Found at the Expo. There was unfortunately something wrong with the audio setup on the show floor resulting in over-driven audio as Dave explains in the show's intro, but we leave this out here for you just so you can choose whether or not you want to listen! John F. Braun checked out the Digital Art Gallery during Macworld/iWorld 2013 and was surprised to find photos from some of his pals. The gallery highlighted the photographic skills of iPhone users and showed that mobile photography can be serious art, too.
