First of all I am no stranger to the mac world (my wife to be has been a life time mac’r), but I just (4/09) purchased my first Macbook and have made the switch from the dreaded windows at home and on the road.  Unfortunately, certain proprietary programs from my line of work require me to use a PC at work, but I do no miss it one bit once I leave the office. 

Just your regular type a guy.  I wouldn’t be the type to call myself a minimalist (like most guys who spend most the day on the internet, claim to be - are you getting the irony there ?)but I am pretty close to it. I love solving problems, math, engineering, rock climbing, anything outdoors in general (camping, canoe/kayak, hiking, laying in a field of grass…)I hope to learn much from these forums and I will be happy to assist with anything I know.
