I am practically speechless, but the World Trade Center had airplanes crash into both of its towers.  Tune in to any channel with news for more information.

A no-fly zone has been imposed on New York City, and there are now military aircraft patrolling that zone.

ABC News has just reported that the DFLP, or the Democratic Front For The Liberation of Palestine, has issued a claim of responsibility.

There may have been an attack on Washington as well.  Cameras are showing a huge plume of smoke coming from behind the Old Executive Office Building, and that the West Wing of the White House are being evacuated.

There are also reports of fire in the Pentagon.

The Pentagon has great billowing plumes of smoke coming out of it.  There are reports of a plane crashing near it.

The FAA has just ordered all planes in the air over the US to land immediately.

The entire second tower of the World Trade Center has just collapsed.  ABC News is confirming that the entire building has collapsed.  This is an unbelievably tragic news.

ABC News is interviewing an eye-witness who said he saw a “small commuter plane” crash into the pentagon.

ABC News is also reporting that there were a total of trhee aircraft hijacked today.  Two of them heading out of Boston, but we have no other details.

One of the planes to hit the World Trade Center had 90 people on board, the second had 60 people.

There are also reports of a car-bomb having exploded outside the State Department.

The second World Trade Center tower has collapsed.  The World Trade Center is no more.

The death toll must be in the thousands.  Our hearts go our to the victims and the friends and family of victims.

I live maybe about two miles away from the towers in Brooklyn… just over the Brooklyn Bridge from the financial center of NYC.  The entire city has come to a halt.  No one can make successful phone calls, the circuits are all overloaded.  I could hear the second tower explosion from my apartment.  There’s a faint smell of burnt plastic and even here I can start to see dust like snow start to rain down on my neighborhood.  People are walking down the streets with their mouths covered.

My main fear is that if this is biological.  We’ll all be doomed.  There’s no way out except by foot.  Pray for us.

A car bomb has went off at the state department (I believe) and a plane has supposedly crashed in Pennsylvania.  Also, the section of the Pentagon that was hit has now collapsed.

All of the museums and monuments in Washington have been closed for the day.

The Sears Tower in Chicago has been evacuated.  No word on whether or not there was a threat.

ABC News is reporting that there was NOT a car bomb that went off in front of the State Department.  Not sure about the conflicting reports yet.

Unconfirmed reports of another plane hitting at Camp David.  I cannot personally confirm this because I have not seen anything official.
