According to my most scientific analysis, 666 is the Number of the Beast. Beware of that user.

Two curious things about that number

It contains one each of the basic roman numeral set except for M: DCLXVI
OK, so blah (make a great cryptic vanity plate, though)

If you take 36 marbles (or nickels or other round or hexagonal objects), lie them side by side (on a carpet, to keep them from rolling around), then lie 35 marbles next to them in the “face centered cubic” lattice (nested so that each one is touching two others) and continue like this until you complete the triangle, tell me how many marbles you have (and more importantly, what this means and why I was so bored one day that I started adding successive numbers)
