The FASB has indeed issued a set of proposed rules for the expensing of stock options. Pulic companies will come under heavy pressure to expense options should the propsed rules be adopted.

It seems inevitable to me.

So who gets hurt by this? The over-compensated executive, or the armies of little guys who will not have the same opportunities in the future to grow rich with their companies that others have had?
