Is there a way to show rulers on TextEdit? I can swear I’ve seen something on this somewhere in the past but can’t find it. For my needs I’m thinking of switching to TextEdit as my WP of choice.

That’s simple!  Command-R.  Its also shown in the Format->Text-> submenu.

No problem.  Its not that obvious actually.  I think the placement of the Ruler is poor in Text Edit.  A UI gaffe by good old Apple?  Sacre bleu!
