Thought I would advise, that hard-nosed german browser I use for about half my browsing is displaying source in the ad space at the top of the forum pages. Its coding error report lists 5 errors and three warnings associated with that particular ad. However, since just about every other browser renders the ad correctly and not that many visitors favour the german browser, you might prefer to ignore the problem.

Thanks, Sydde!

We’re checking it out, and I appreciate it.

You mean iCab? iCab rocks. And yes, I have noticed the same thing with the ad. I just assumed it was some ad-blocking system that I hadn’t gotten around to disabling.

Yes, that one. If it was ad-blocking (one of the reasons that browser doesn’t get more press), it would be that little yellow Melitta coffee filter looking thing

Isn’t the coffee filter for Java stuff?

Also, there is an <iframe> up there, so if iCab doesn’t support those you’ll get errors too.

I just noticed that IE 5.0 for Windows (yeah yeah) does the same thing with the ad banner. Either the update to 5.5 or the Service Pack fixed it though.

Hm. Mozilla 0.9.5 breaks the ad banner too. icon_smile.gif
