I am pleased as punch to announce that Raena Armitage has been sucked into the world of TMO’s staff.  Raena joins us as a contributing editor, and we have a special feature she will be doing that has been in he works for months.  In addition, she is now a TMO forum mod and has the power to bitch-slap the riffraff in any of the forums.  Watch out.

Welcome aboard, Raena!

Welcome Raena! Have you been completely brought over here or are you still writing for ‘other’ sites?

Howdy Reana! Hey, I know someone from Down Under. I’m sure you know her, she talks just like you do. Her name is Cathy. You know her, right? Sure you do. She’s an Aussie, you’re an Aussie…

Ok, one question; I know Aussie guys call their friends ‘mates’. What do Aussie women call their friends? Matettes? Maybe ‘mate’ has no gender, so both guys and girls call their respective friends ‘mates’. Doesn’t that get confusing? So, if you are married to your mate does that make him or her a mate square? And when you introduce your spouse to a friend do you say, “This is me Mate-mate, mate.” Of course, if either your mate or your Mate-mate is named Mat or Mattie, then you could be in for some real trouble.

Anyways, welcome aboard! icon_smile.gif

And tell that fake Aussie, Mel Gibson, not to make another Lethal Weapon movie…

I’m personally looking forword to Leathal Weapon X. Riggs and Martah(sp?) chase the bad guys in solar powered wheel chairs. Riggs, no longer able to fight, gums his suspect to death and is charge with first degree murder. Of course, he’s framed, and must prove his innocence before his heart and Social Security runs out. Nail bitng (gumming?) action all the way!

Raena’s addition to the TMO staff is what prompted me to register as a forum member. I’ve worked with her over the years and although we live half a world apart, I consider her to be a wonderful friend and co-worker. Not only is she well versed in technology (Macs in particular), but also her energy, resourcefulness and willingness to help others will be a benefit to all Mac Observer readers and forum members.

I applaud TMO’s decision to add Raena to the staff and I look forward to her continuing contribution of time and talent to the greater Mac community through her work in TMO and as a moderator in the forums.

Congratulations on an excellent choice!
