I got to thinking Bryan. In the Help section why not an HTML Help Forum or Web Design Help Forum? There are MANY of us Mac users who build web pages and would love to have a section on these forums to ask for advice of tips.

I know I have had some probs in the past and spent countless hours upon days searching the internet for a solution. A forum would be helpful.

Just an idea.

That’s an interesting idea, Spider.

Anyone else have any interest in this?

Thanks. Glad to know I can contribute. icon_biggrin.gif

I do think it will be useful. I know right now I am having a problem with Server Side Includes when publishing on a Unix (non-OS X) server.

I was going to ask someone on here, but then I realized that there is no real place to ask. I could put it in General Mac Talk, but it is not general.

Then I thought Classic OS Help, but it is not really an OS issue.

Since OS X is based on Unix, I thought maybe one of the OS X forums, but it too did not feel right.

Not only would it be useful, but I also think that it will be used quite a bit. As an added plus, I know not of any other forum on a Mac-dedicated website that has a section for this. Yet another first for The Mac Observer! icon_smile.gif

Ok…more than my two cents I admit. I would really like to see it though. I would like to see how the Mods and TMO Staff, and the registered members feel about it.

I like it. icon_biggrin.gif   I’d use it, too.

Well, that settles it, now that we have a mod in Raena…

I’ll add it tonight or tomorrow.

Hey, Spider, Bryan has been waiting for me to say that I think it is a good idea too.

Bryan, I think it’s a good idea too.  There, I said it.  You can add it now.

Well, even though the HTML Help forum is yet to be added, I have another submission.

How about a general *nix forum? You know, for folks that run some form of non-OS X *nix on their Macs that can’t run X, and for those who just have a general interest in *nix, like me.

It doesn’t really belong in the OS X help, because, well, it isn’t OS X, and it’s just different enough. icon_wink.gif

Would anyone else be interested in adding Unix Help to the submission queue?
