Suggestions for the @Home aftermath

Silly me, I couldn’t find the scrap of paper that held my TMO forum passwd, so I tried to have it sent to me.

Even sillier me, I had registered back before I knew that Excite was going to melt down;  having my password sent to my now-defunct @home acct would not help.

As a result, I had to re-register (in a whimsical mood, as you can see) in order to post to today’s FunForumTopic(tm), and this has generated a couple of suggestions:

It would be great if there were some way to modify the user-management so that people like me can change their now-defunct @home addresses & get back into their old accounts.  Mine used my real name, which I can’t use here now (ironic?) until & unless this gets resolved.  Maybe provide for a backup email address in accounts?

Next idea:  the FunForumTopic(tm) is not accessible from the forum page, requiring one to waste valuable mouseclicks.  A link from the forum index, or some other bookmarkable location would be great for inquiring minds (like me!)

*sigh*  Whimsical, indeed - I think this nick is going to be trouble….icon_wink.gif

Gee, folks, I actually thought this was a real question - and politely asked, too.

If someone could be bothered to spend a moment giving me any kind of answer, I’d appreciate it.

Thanks.

I’d try sending a private message to Bryan. I don’t know why he wouldn’t have responded to your post by now.
