It's 1969, OK?

This is the 1969th post, and I am such a HUGE Iggy Pop fan that I thought I would commemorate it with a mention of the seminal Stooges song, 1969.

Here are the outstanding lyrics from that song.

    It’s 1969, OK?
    And all across the USA
It’s another year for me and you
Another year with nothin’ to do

It’s another year for me and you
Another year with nothin’ to do

    Last year I was 21
Didn’t have a lot of fun
    Now I’m gonna be 22
    Oh my, and uh boo-hoo

    Now I’m gonna be 22
    Oh my, and uh boo-hoo

I didn’t answer it for two reasons:

    a) I didn’t notice it
    b) I’m bored. I’m the chairman of the bored.

Bless you, Spider, for resurrecting this neglected thread. :D

Bless you, Laurie, for being so darned (and sometimes unexpectedly) cool!
