D’oh!

Well, this was You Make Me Feel So by Paul Cebar and the Milwaukeeans off of That Unhinged Thing. (Hey, I didn’t say it was an easy one—just that it was a good turn of lyric.)

That track’s here as well

I think you get to go again, Rob.

BTW, nice response in the comments on that TechTV piece today.  icon_wink.gif

Okay, this thread seems to have died, which is unfortunate. I didn’t get a chance to jump in, because of you meddling kids these days with your alternative rock and hula-hoops! Pah! So, in an attempt to revive it, and of course get my count closer to the three-star level icon_biggrin.gif I offer the following lyric for guessers. Should be easy enough, but to grease the skids, it comes from the early 90s:

Well you lied to me, cause I asked you to:
Baby, can we still be friends?

Fire when ready.

Who’s Gonna Ride Your Wild Horses
by U2
Off of the album “Achtung Baby”

Alrighty then…up next:

The woman was a dream I had
Though rather hard to keep
for when my eyes were watching hers
They closed,
And I was still asleep.

Good luck,

Brad

ooOOooo… I want to answer, but I don’t have a lyric snippet to follow up with and I dont want to kill the thread again!

I have to admit that that’s one of the tracks that’ll cause me to get up to change the radio station—five minutes of song, then repeat the single-line chorus for the next twenty minutes. icon_biggrin.gif (at least for the live version, which is the only one I’ve heard)

A little help here. Was this by The DiFranco Family, or by Eddie and the Cruisers?

Neither.  They have tons of CDs out (both live and album) and recently stopped playing together.  The group name is an awkward spelling of a certain wildlife creature.

LOL!!!  icon_lol.gif

I was actually thinking he was referring to Def Leppard, but I loathe that band and don’t intend to soil my keyboard by typing their name.

DOH!!!  Too late…  icon_frown.gif

Hint #2:  This band name is considered a sport by some (in its original spelling, not the altered band name).

Brad,
How about one more clue…like what decade they are from? (mainly) icon_biggrin.gif

Cause I can think of a number of bands with animals in them such as the Bangles, Flock of Seagulls, Three Dog Night, Toadies, Black Crowes, Glass Tiger, Dog’s Eye View, The Yardbirds, The Beatles, Steppenwolf, and the Stray Cats just to name a few.

None of the come close to a sport, unless you are talking about VW Beetle racing then it would be the Beatles.

How bout it? icon_biggrin.gif
