WOW! a plausible iMac concept drawing
-
What do you people think about the newest Imac2 design that is up on MOSR.com?
This is more like it! It’s definately more plausible than the POS that made the rounds on the Mac Web.My first impression was “I WANT ONE!”
Boy I hope this one’s real! (Even if the screen size is unrealistic)Signature

What’s the difference between a Mac and a PC? Macs are designed, PCs are assembled.

I think it’s pretty ugly, plus it doesn’t fit in with the current design scheme (like the TiBook and iBook). Also, I’d expect it to have to same screen as either the iBook or the Pismo. Definitely NOT 17”, seeing as Apple’s 17” LCD is $999 itself.

I love it. It’s not real, but I love it.

Can someone post a URL so we can all take a look?

Sweeeeeeet.
Keep it coming, Apple. If not for anything else, you have to admit, Apple keeps all other manufacturers on their toes.

That they do, but most can’t seem to find their balance that way.
Something I think is even more fun is the way the company keeps the creative types from making their own cool “Apple” products like the one in this thread. Handhelds, desktops, portables, etc. Some of the fakes I have seen have been astoundingly beautiful.
The funniest thing about that, when you think about it, is why is it that the fakes, made by people for fun, entertainment, and sometimes mischief, are so much better than what the real Wintel PC companies can make?

All I can say is that if Apple ships this, they will put Viagra out of business… at least for this wanna-be dirty ole man.

Ha! I think you’ll always need that Rodney.

Only three more weeks until we find out for real.

Now that’s one heck of a nice looking conceptual drawing. But seriously, 17 inch flat display, airport, etc., starting at $899? I don’t think it could be done. But kudos to the person who dreamt it up. Apple could use you.

Clunky, clunky…
The base is way too high to be elegant.
The rounded off, simulated feet are too ominous, plump and, yes, blatantly ‘sucksual’, considering size and position of speakers.
The screen is a la studio design, nuttin wrong with that.Lesson: it doesn’t suffice to add parts for a whole?
