Thanks for pointing that out. It is amazing what a tiny amount of inquiry can do.  I was simply not conscious as to the rationality of this particular post.  May comfort find you knowing that I will submit no faux pas from this point forward.

Did I fail to post in chain gang-land for this long? What was I thinking?

Finally, with many long days and nights in passing, I will follow “said” way to post by starting my post as spazum64 said how to (hint: look at first post in this topic.)

Lord Almighty! cry Why isn’t anybody posting in this brilliant topic!! Four posts a month, at a minimum, should show up in this topic! So log on, find “That fifth symbol topic” in and amongst many myriad Chain Gang topics, and post-post-post away! Or, you could also build your own “Topic” from scratch!

Do any of you find it odd, or possibly grossly hypocritical, that a word which is in violation of its own rulings is part of this topic’s titling?

You know, now that you bring it up, it is kind of quirky. Only spazum64’s original post contains any taboo symbols. In my opinion, this is highly suspicious.

Suspicious is a good word for it.

I wish spazum64 would clarify his faux pas, but alas, it’s doubtful that spazum64 visits our forums on a normal basis.

Do you think our author has spazums too painful to allow him to visit us?

lol Unusually painful spazums probably! wink Also, don’t omit starting without a “fifth symbol”, it’s distinctly in this topic’s titling.

“I” do not want to sound annoying ( smile probably am though ), but, your post should start with fifth “symbol” from last posting. Also, application of a proxy is not orthodox.

wink I would not worry too much. It is obvious that nobody, barring you and I, want to post in this particular topic.

*bump*

Lordy, why isn’t anybody making a post in this topic?

It isn’t impossibly hard to craft a paragraph or two without using a particular symbol.

Why look, I’m on my third paragraph right now.
