Is there no AM/FM RECEIVER for Nano/IPOD?

  Is there no true am/fm radio add-on for a Nano or IPOD?  I am not looking for a FM “Transmitter” but an AM/FM receiver.  I find it hard to believe there isn’t one.  what am I missing here?

  Apple sells an FM receiver. It is $49 at the Apple store. Works with Nano and Video iPods.
