The News just got assaulted by a spam flood. Aren’t Guest posts supposed to be off or something?

Actually the TMO labs are kinda dead in general. Except for the iPhoto, Web and Hardcore X! forums that seem to be barely moving . What bothers me is that some people pitch up and make a post requesting help and never get it.

I also maintain that this smiley should be added to the collection.

The creation of a TMO Classic Mac Specialist rank could be useful. The rank would have a new star to match:

(this is a 30 second photoshop, I’m sure something better could be achieved.)

Karma is the name given to user-designated ranks at /..  Not sure if it has history before /..

Really, I just wanted to type /. with a second period a second time.

GarageBand forum: Aye, it never took off.  I’ll contemplate its future.

Help forums: Working on this issue.

    Classic Mac help forum: Contemplating.

    Thanks!

Mmmm… What’s about the Prune Orchard?

Seems that a special rank/status/permission is needed for access.

Yes. That is for admins and mods only. It actually should be hidden from view.

Ah, just saw the creation of iPod and iTunes support forums (finally)! it would be nice to import the current iPod support threads lying around into the new forum to give it a jump start.

On another note, aren’t the various new movies, music and TV forums all competing with The Couch? Just a thought.

Why only cover four TV shows? If TV shows are to be covered, why only these four?

    Nyah baaa moooo.

The shows being covered are shows available to purchase via iTMS and chosen by the writing team for their excellence (personal opinions here, definitely) and their ability to garner and keep an online fandom.  We write what we love.  This section will continue to grow in keeping with readership and interest.  As always, please let us know if there are other shows which would interest you.

I believe a “suggest a show” topic will pop up eventually, at the very least for my feature, Flashback Fridays, but also for general shows to be covered.

We’ve got an exceptional writing staff covering these shows…we’re definitely in a growing place, but I’m excited about where we’re going.

Eventually (within the week, I believe) these fora will exist in a separate location from the TMO forums, attached specifically to iPO.  For now they’re linked here, but watch for them to be elsewhere soon enough.

The Couch is my baby, and I’m not worried a bit.
