I’ve moved your personal ad here to Buy, Sell & Trade - it’s a bit more appropriate.

Ah… Shame that is… I sold mine a month ago.

Though you wouldn’t have wanted it. It was allergic to OS X and had all sorts of quirks.

You can try used Mac systems sites, like Shreve systems or We Love Macs (though they tend to be a bit pricey there).

Low End Mac publishes a handy List each week containing the best prices on the market for a specific model.

Then of course there is always ebay, but be careful there: there are many rip-offs as well as there are great deals.

I suggest Craigslist if they have listings for your local area. I’ve found lots of good deals on there. It takes patience because it’s essentially an online classified ad listing. You may have to wait a little while for the iBook you want appears, but once it does it will probably be for a pretty reasonable price.

You could also try posting a Craigslist wanted ad with the price range you’re looking for. Maybe someone will have one they don’t need but hadn’t thought to advertise.

Oh nice! I had no idea there was a used Mac store only 40 miles from me!
