I am intrestet if it is possible to change the scroll bar colors on Mac. On windows something like that would do it:
{
SCROLLBAR-ARROW-COLOR: #97AABA; SCROLLBAR-FACE-COLOR: #F2F5F7; SCROLLBAR-HIGHLIGHT-COLOR: #B2C3D0; SCROLLBAR-SHADOW-COLOR: #B2C3D0; SCROLLBAR-3DLIGHT-COLOR: #ffffff; SCROLLBAR-TRACK-COLOR: #FFFFFF; SCROLLBAR-DARKSHADOW-COLOR: #FFFFFF
}
So does anybody know how to do this for mac?

Short answer: no. icon_smile.gif

Those are non-standard properties that are being included by some browsers on the PC (IE, Konqueror). They’re not defined in any CSS specs, and they’re not even properly labeled as being proprietary (the properties should be preceded with “-vendor-”). Even if MS wanted to include that for the Mac version of IE, I don’t think that it would be easy, programming-wise (doubly so for OS X).

IE 5.0 and higher will read this (Including Netscape 6) (Was there a Netscape 5?)  Netscape 6 finally came up to (some) standard with CSS2, but not completely.

<STYLE TYPE="text/css"
BODY

scrollbar
-base-colororange
scrollbar-arrow-colorgreen;
scrollbar-DarkShadow-Colorblue
}
</STYLE

So, if you’re still browsing with NN 4.7, IE 4, or anything else… you’re scroll bars will just be the standard color.

I’m out of time, patience and my mind… but I have plenty of excuses.

You are talking about the PC versions of these programs, right? Out of curosity I just tried the code you provided and it didn’t do anything for me in IE 5 for Mac.

FYI, no there was no Netscape 5.
