I really hope someone can answer this question.

I have created a book using iPhoto. I now want to send it to Apple for publishing.

I am running on a G4/AGP/400 with 1.6GB Ram, 200 GB Hard Disk, OS X 10.1.4, and a cable modem. I’ve tried both the latest versions of Netscape and IE browsers.

I CAN see all the icons (print, photos, book, etc.) that are part of share.
However, when I choose book, after iPhoto has assembled my pictures, I get to the screen thats says enable 1-click.

I can enable 1-click at the Apple store or through My View, but I cannot in iPhoto. When I click the enable on iPhoto it trys to Connect, but then comes back with a message saying that I should check the network connection. However, I have been unable to find anything wrong with my network connection.

Any suggestions?

I have exactly the same problem (see “iPhoto to HomePage problem” topic). I have read in a Belgian Mac group forum that the HomePage function is only available to North American customers. I can more or less understand such a restriction on album ordering, but can’t see why this should be so with HomePage!
There must be some other reason, but so far no-one has been able to suggest anything.
Where are you located?

One of the things I have figured out regarding homepage, etc. is that if you go to System Preferences and deselect other languages and pick US English, iPhoto gives you access to Homepage, Prints, Book, etc. If you have anything else, it turns them off. That may be part of the trouble.

I’ve got a call into Apple and a name and number to try and fix the bug. I can’t call until this evening (afternoon Apple time) and I’ll have resolution to the problem. If I get one, I’ll post it here and all the other forums that I’ve looked for answers on (Apple Discussions, MacFixIt, etc.)

I don’t have US English as an option with my International English MacOS X, only English (plain and simple) plus a number of other languages. Nevertheless, all icons are clickable under the Share option. It’s just that the connection always fails (the Order Book option first goes through the assembly process, of course!).
