“Mac OS X is gaining ground in the enterprise space,” said Michael Kelly, chairman and chief architect of Techtel Corporation, a technology market research firm based in Emeryville, Calif. “In fact, among the largest buyers of enterprise technology, Mac OS X has a higher customer satisfaction than both WindowsÂ® 2000 and LinuxÂ®.”

Sounds good to me, but I am a little curious about the overall idea that Mac OS X is pushing into Enterprise. OS X isn’t a viable threat to Windows 2000, not yet. Eventually, it will be, but Microsoft is not worried about OS X kicking Win2k out any corporate doors. In a couple of years, I believe it will be a much different story.
