Funny…

That this is news to you guys, I know I’ve been all over AwkwardTV and their awesome hacks of the AppleTV. Mine has been opened and put back together at least a dozen times and I would challenge anyone to give it a cursory inspection and see if they can tell the difference. Its actually not currently hacked as I’ve been lazy since Apple put the 1.1 update out, I restored to factory settings so I could play with their YouTube plug-in and I haven’t messed with hacking it open again. I find I’m quite happy to use it primarily as a convenient iTunes platform most of the time, hacking it was fun but not essential to my enjoyment of it. They did just release a new version of ATVFiles though, so I might fool with it this weekend.

Not to hate on anyone personally, but I question the hardcore-ness of any Mac User afraid to void their warranty. And if there is one thing you don’t want to bite into, its an Apple with a soft, mushy core
