US growth the best in 18 months… but the markets are still worried about how one bunch of greedy bastards (bankers) might stop lending another bunch of greedy bastards (hedge funds and PE groups) money with no security except for vacuous promises.

You know how they say that the easiest person to sell something to is another salesman, because they think they’re too clever to get conned? The same applies to financiers. This is all about financiers waking up to the reality that they’ve been handing out money left right and centre without enough security. Welcome to the real world boys. Next time you’re in a toilet cubicle in some swanky New York hot spot enjoying a line of cocaine whilst quaffing a bottle of Louis Roederer Cristal, with some PE nut-job who is trying to talk you into funding his corporate take-over, think twice. Hell, thinking once would be progress.

thanx smile I’ve read somehwere that the site needed a realtime ticker smile

There is a 5 secs delay during market hours, in AH and MP there is 120 secs delay and in early PM there is 600 secs delay. If he doesn’t refresh, the image is coming out of your cache.


In the mean time ToS seems to be fixed THANK GOD.

Today may be another high volume day, with buyers predominating. If we can crack 149, then we may close at 150.

If the general market does not roll over big time I expect to see Apple move to and perhaps over 150 today…. anyone any thoughts?

it briefly broke R1 @ 148.22   if that happens again next stop is 150.95   and the real chance of getting there today may be the reason for all this buying

They have mailed me back. It’s not a software problem, but a speed problem.

We have been made aware of a problem occurring with a major internet provider all over the country and it may be slowing down your connection

And I may call them to make trades. They’ll read out real time quotes throught the phone and I have to yell BUY or SELL razz
