Oil prices and any new Iran development impact on global sit

With the French Minister’s comments today re Iran, oil prices have risen. Apparently, now more former Bush officials are talking about this behind closed doors!

Well, looks like Feb-Apr ‘08 could be eventful.

This is probably a cunning French plan to raise the stakes, and then act as the middleman in a peace settlement in order to plant itself firmly in the “good guys” court with the Iranians in contrast to those devil-worship British and Americans, thereby gaining lucrative commercial contracts and probably orders for a string of civil nuclear power stations all over the country as part of the deal roll eyes

Not likely, not at all Kouchner way (french foreign affairs minister)

Very true.. the guy shoots his mouth off in a manner that even puts Prince Philip to shame.

In fact he is probably inspired by Churchill attitude toward Germany pre world war II
