Memberlist and Spam

  I just received a classic piece of spam from a resident of Liberia offering me a share of some multi-millions. The message noted that my address came from the MacObserver Memberlist.

  Such things may happen when you have your email address publicly visible on the forums.  I would suggest that you go to the profile section and change “Always show my e-mail address:” to No.  Then your email address won’t be easily accessed.
