[quote author=“Quadra”][quote author=“omacvi”]I bought back this a.m.

With markets green and 155 reached, I think we will see lots of green by the end of the day.

Being down for most of the morning with low volume is a little concerning. roll eyes

Don’t get too close to the Kool-aide!  151.88 now!

I bought about 30 minutes too soon. razz

Given its free fall I don’t think we will see green today.

Now I just hop the market does not tank tomorrow, or we might see further drops.

update:  I sold part of my position at a loss. evil

need to free up more money if we fall further. lol

This is what I get for not following my own advice. I had planned to sell the morning gap up, but I didn’t. Whenever I don’t follow my own advice I mess up and whenever I do follow my own advice I mess up. If I had sold this morning, I am sure AAPL would have ramped up to $160.00….. roll eyes

I know there a people waiting for me to sell so they can buy, because whenever I sell AAPL…..it ramps.

Yeah right?  My 1200 shares really moved the stock. bug eyed

Oh Well you win some and you lose some.

I thought we would follow the pattern of yesterday, although I should have followed my own instinct yesterday and just stay out.  No big deal.  I will just have to wait a few more days and make it all up and some. smile

I wouldn’t worry about this morning’s movement down.  Without significantly negative economic or company news, 148 is likely the new bottom.

Remember, the real PE is actually lower than it appears, due to almost 3 months of AAPL earnings since last quarter.

Well, I’m F&#í!  Somehow, I managed to sell an option I’d bought using unsettled funds and, in doing so, am now locked out of trading on margin for NINETY DAYS!  JEEZ!  You’d think I was some big Wall Street trader doing something “bad”....oh, wait, THEY don’t get locked out, do they?  roll eyes  :x Could have come at a worse time, but now, I have to wait until funds settle to buy, which totally sucks, especially considering that AAPL seems to be on sale today.  frown

Strange day.  Indices green, but all the recent high flyers (except, of course, darling RIMM) are down.  Looks to me like window dressing for the end of the quarter, only three trading days left before going into traditionally bumpy Oct.  I sold all DRYS and FSLR this morning, but kept the AAPL. But wow, look at BIDU, down over 11 points.  Watch that for buying op.

Oh Steph, that really sucks.  I’d call your brokerage and try to weasel out of it.  frown

Good idea.

Talk to them and explain your innocent mistake.

You might also hint that you might just change brokers.

etrade is bleeding like crazy.  Everyone is fighting for new accounts.

And of course,  as usual I sold about 15 minutes too soon.
Thank God we are only playing with real money

Given its high price, I should be more patient since the stock tends to fluctuate so much in such a small time frame.

We are now down only .90
