[quote author=“wheeles”][quote author=“willrob”]Target Stores are selling a Special Edition Shuffle (Pink) for breast cancer awareness.

Apple should do a similarly styled MacBook. I cannot begin to imagine the huge volume of those they would sell. drool

Why don’t we have a smiley face vomiting?

[quote author=“willrob”][quote author=“Quadra”] Cramer says sell the 4 horseman! Suggests you sell into the markup then buy back late Friday or Monday.

But just yesterday he said buy them!

Maybe he meant that in a long term sense.  wink

Cramer is just showmanship…

I really hope no one is putting any stock (pun intended) in what Cramer says.  roll eyes

I take it you don’t like the pink MacBook idea.

OK, pop quiz. Which colour iPod mini sold way more than any other?

Yup, the pink one. wink

Guess who bought many of them? Middle-school and high-school girls. Think they’re a good market for MacBooks? Another color would add to inventory for the retailers, much as the “Lifesaver” iMacs did.

In any case, if someone really wants a pink MacBook , she can get one.

Is the Apple web page for checking availability still active? I couldn’t find a link to it on the redesigned store web site.

Are the 24 or so stores you mention on the east coast, where buyers are loading up on multiple units to sell in Europe?

Will, didn’t realize that but all but a handful are on the east coast with the majority being in Mass., NY and New Jersey.

So my guess is that those numbers will go down once they figure out demand issues a little better. Sounds like they need a similar page for the iPod Touch smile

Okay Tommo, Looks like anyone can now afford a Ferrari ... for only $25000

And we thought Apple skimmed the market on initial iPhone pricing!

I posted this link yesterday which is where I first read about the big buyers. Apple may need to limit store purchases to two per person again. BTW the 4G phones are totally gone now, from retail and on-line store. Possibly ATT stores still have a few.
