I wish attorneys didn’t have so much to gain by promoting class action type lawsuits.  The ONLY people who win in this type of lawsuit are the attorneys.  Win or lose, THEY get their $500/hour (or whatever their “rate” might be).     :x

The lawyers get a percentage of the settlement [the larger percentage].

Hey I used to own one of those Apple II showen in the video.  That was in 1984, then I bought a Classic in 90 with my first loan from the local credit union.

Not sure what they mean by that, other then the Blackberry is no longer the smart phone to have, but rather just a phone.  The iPHone is the smart phone to own everything else is just a cell phones will bells and whistles that most customers don’t use.

We will find out come Oct 25 how much of that market belongs to RIMM.

It was pretty crappy coverage tbh… Just the Fast Money team talking up their RIM handsets and predicting a 15% rise in RIM shares tomorrow.

Is there really a case for not being able to use the phone on another network. Of course not, each carrier has phones that are linked to their service. Voiding the warranty because of tampering is perfectly legal. I know you foreigners don’t care for us americans, but our court system will fix what the lawyers screw up. Even if the class action is granted Apple will tie this thing up in the system for years. Then when the lawsuit is decided in court and Aple looses it will be thrown out in a federal appeals court. I know we probably have a few lawyers in this forum so I will try not to offend to bad….but F*#k a lawyer before they F*#k you

Now that I’ve wiped the vomit off my keyboard ... point 5 is incredible. Since when did roaming charges become illegal and a subject for lawsuits?

Perhaps if enough of us get together we can file a class action suit against {insert provider} claiming damages for roaming charges??? WTF

Even better…we could all get together, as a “class” of AAPL investors, and file a class action lawsuit against those LAWYERS for the damage their undertaking could do to Apple and us as shareholders.
