Guess what - the Upper Bollinger is within a few cents of the all-time high. Talk about painting a red target for the bulls… Anyone for an $8 up move today? big grin

Oil falls under $89 as the “terror trade” unwinds.

Amazing that we could end the month exactly where we started ... just like August ... I think Tommo was right in that it would have been wise to take November off ... would have cut down on a lot of heartburn big grin

I think I am realizing that the toughest thing to do sometimes is nothing.

Multiple CNBC guests saying things like “Santa Claus rally is going to happen, this time it’s for real…”

Another says “Santa Claus isn’t coming to town, he’s already here—today—and he’s walking around…”

Oil is down. Financials are up as much as 4%. Bernanke said the Fed is ready to move aggressively if needed.

Would seem to be a pretty good backdrop for AAPL to resume its climb.

GOOG just hit $710!

Countrwide Financial just rose 26% - good God, talk about a short squeeze!

AAPL’s up 1.5% now.

DELL is down 12.%  razz .. I wonder if the DELLuded can save the stock from disaster yet again? I’m not sure where on earth they’ll find anything good to hang a bullish thesis on this time.

Briefing.com

30-Nov-07 09:56 ET In Play Research In Motion: Nov channel checks indicated mixed demand - Piper Jaffray (120.55 -1.53) -Update : Before the open Piper Jaffray said Nov channel checks indicated mixed demand for smartphones and data-oriented devices across all four major U.S. carriers, as they noted an increasing mix of mid-tier phones for the Holiday Season. Given the potential for RIMM not launching any new key products for leading carriers during the Feb qtr and the overall normal seasonal decline in the N.America market following the Holiday Season, the firm is slightly lowering their Feb ests and maintained their Neutral, firm cuts their FY08 estimates to $2.13 from from $2.21 (consensus is $2.18). The firm says however they believe RIMM continues to enjoy a strong replacement cycle and continued strong new subscriber growth.

Wow - the weasels just came out en-masse… DELL remains down 14%... RIMM is now down 4.5% .. AAPL’s wafting around joined at the hip to GOOG today, just under 1% up after a rout from its high.

Can we finally, please, at last, trade on our own merits and not be forced to run with these other headless glue factories, or are the bears going to scare the bejesus out of the cows and throw the calves out with the RIMM bathwater?

Time to decouple IMO.

I think we’ll close the gap, and then shoot back up again. If that damn Fed buffoon Plosser hadn’t opened his mouth I think the markets would have been stronger but he’s stirring up inflation fears right now, and making people doubt what they heard from Bernanke last night.

Why can’t he just STFU screw these $hit-stirring bastards! Sorry to sound so angry and crude, but hell.. these guys are paid to run the Fed, not to make speeches and roil the markets :x

Exactly…I don’t remember ever hearing folks from the Fed talk as much as these folks have over the past 4 months. Jeez…close the doors to your office and do your work.

Or is every occupation a PR job these days.  roll eyes
