At this rate of growth, Steve Jobs must have Google in it’s sights. Wow! I wonder if Michael Dell ever regrets making that should be long forgotten statement. I guess one should never open one’s mouth without thinking.

My question about keeping the stores filled during the lean months is because I thought Apple’s sales were more or less seasonal. Back to school and Christmas sort of thing.
I don’t get into Manhattan anymore since I have to take care of my ailing father. I’ve not yet been to one Apple store, so I can’t even imagine how much traffic they can generate. If Apple can keep making new product announcements throughout the year, then maybe they can keep the stores filled. I suppose as long as they can sell five to ten iMacs and MacBook Pros a day, they’ll make enough money to keep the stores in the black.
