[quote author=“jnook1”]189.95, nice day overall!

Perfect close - smack on the Upper Bollinger and looking strong rather than over-extended, and with lots of cash-rich buyers still sat on the sidelines unsure what to do. There’s still plenty of fuel for a big post-Fed push if the news is good.

OK sold 500 at 189.96. Looking forward to tomorrow. I put the order to sell order in for 190.10 to try and get us over the hump. You are welcome.

To be honest I am happier with all of the indices showing strength across most all sectors.
Nas, WOW         1.6%  (The star of the day) IMO
S&P , WOW       1.5%
DOW, pretty good.  1.3%
APPL, very nice.  2.2%

[quote author=“Demian”]That wall at $190.00 was stronger than I thought. I was a little bullish with my 190.80 close prediction, but not so bad….....

Maybe we hit my 190.80 in AH ?

I don’t think there was a “wall”.  I saw a sell order of about 70,000 at 190 at the end.  THAT’s what stopped AAPL at 189.95.

[quote author=“Demian”][quote author=“mbeauch”]I know this is off topic, but my battery for my new Macbookpro does not hold a charge for even the whole day. Whats up with that?

Some of those batteries were recalled. Check the Apple support site…...Apple will send you a new one at no charge to you.

Thank you again. Went through the checks and will have a new one in 3 days. Sony was the manufacturer of the battery.

Did you read my whole post or just 3 sentences? Does GORE have a spirit or is GORE a robot? If GORE is a robot, there is no need for him to worry about his emotions messing up his trading….....  smile

My ThinkOrSwim quote shows the upper Bollinger band (20,2) currently at $190.58. Ironically I find this to be too close for comfort and I would prefer if AAPL closed below that level for today lest it seems as if Apple were overbought. There is also the $190.61, the highest opening price ever for AAPL and the all-time high of $192.68 which can provide resistance.

I think we will see a big leg up next week, when the changing economic environment and the rising BBs will justify AAPL rising even higher. I would like to see $210 by options expiration, which I believe is achievable.

eerie no volume on premarket, if there was a wall of sell orders nobody’s buying early.

Dan, all eyes are on the jobs number out in 40mins. Nobody’s going to do much before that.
