NFP: 94,0000
Jobless Rate: 4.7%
Hourly Earnings: 0.5% (slightly higher than expected..good for consumers)

All pretty much steady as she goes smile

What a non-event - now we can look forward to several days of over-anal-analysis of the upcoming Fed meeting roll eyes

AAPL can’t seem to break above 190 despite the good news.

I hate to quote Joe Kernin (sp?) from CNBC but other than intraday trading, as he said who is going to take a short position or sell in this environment right now with the Fed meeting around the corner and a Fed triggered rally a very real possibility.  Everything is looking pretty dam good both with the economy (godilocks) and technical levels in the indices.

Its not so much a mass of sellers as a lack of enthusiastic buyers. Instead you could ask who is going to go all-in right now after a big run-up with one of the most important Fed meetings on record just 2 trading days away.

Less chance of a rate cut or smaller cut than expected most likely.
