I just heard about this game the other night.  I guess I must be living in a hole!  This is going to be the first game to bring real D&D to the desktop computer realm.  You are going to be playing a multiplayer game over the internet with real people, on a campaign made by another player (the DM) instead of some canned adventure that the programmers made.

The only problem is, and I heard this on one of my developer lists the other day, is that the tool for campaign creation is going to be for _PC only_. icon_frown.gif   What a disappointment!  Fellow gamers, is there anything we can do to persuade the company making this game?  After all I’d like to be involved in some creatively made games. icon_wink.gif   After all, the Mac is the “creative” computer.

Anyway sounds like a great game, but too bad no creation tools for Mac.  I guess there’s always VirtualPC. icon_razz.gif

HAHAHA! I have mine pre-ordered for my PC already. Looks like you just need to buy a PC

I hope for your sake that they do decide to output a version for the Mac. You have to look at the fact that there ARE more PC’s than Macs and they will put out a version for the Mac when they get the time….I hate that for the Mac community…but its the simple truth

Hehe, well the game itself will be available for Mac, just not the campaign creation tools. icon_frown.gif   I read this on one of the developer forums, and there are a lot of mad developers.  I hope for PC users sake that they do make tools for Mac, lest there be some really bland beige campaigns out there. icon_razz.gif icon_wink.gif icon_eek.gif

If I get into designing for this game there will not be. I’ve been playing D&D for 18 years now

I got some great iteas but nothing to build these ideas into. Hopefully I will be able to build what I want into this!

Maybe we should hook up for a game once it comes out.  I used to be an avid D&D gamer, but it is always so hard to get players together for a game.  The time commitment thing is pretty tough for some.  I haven’t really played since the 3rd edition came out.  And before that stint about 8 months ago, it had been about 4 years.

Sometimes I wish I had never cracked the DM guide.  I can still remember the awe and excitement of the first time I ever played - not knowing anything about the world.  It was like being a kid again.  When you read that guide it seems the whole world gets changed into numbers and dice rolls.  I dunno.  I enjoy being a player instead of being the DM anyways. icon_biggrin.gif

I enjoy both DMing and Playing…
But when the game comes out and I get it I’ll let you know icon_smile.gif
