Everyone interested in recording music on your Mac should check out this link:   .  Its a MacWorld UK story about a study that shows a Mac running OS X has some of the very slowest latency times in the industry, a quality that is key for recording Pro Audio.  The interesting thing too is that the original OS X was lambasted for being very latent.  I have a strong feeling that the OS version tested was 10.1 in this test.  I don’t recall any of the updates noting anything about the new Core Audio libraries, but I have heard that Apple has been working on improving them.  Way to go, Apple!
