Microsoft Word has got to be the world’s largest piece of useless, bloated, mixed up, user-unfriendly bovine excrement ever perpetrated.

I have been using Word extensively for several months now, editing training documents. My GOD!! It’s like fighting a dozen octopi.

Learning Adobe In Design was easier and faster - because it MAKES SENSE and does not do things “for you” that you don’t want done.

I never before thought I could despise an application as much as I presently despise M$ Word.

(Okay, I feel a little better now.  Back to the editing…..)

After I started to use iWork, I really didn’t see any reason to keep Office around. It’s cheap, it works great and is powerful enough for the average user.

I would use iWork if I could.  But the client wants it in Microslop.

I tried doing a smaller document in Pages and convert, but it didn’t cross over properly.  Good ol’ M$ reset all the image wrapping to inline text no matter how I set the import. That, of course, totally screwed up the pages where I’d wrapped the text around an image.

So, I’m stuck using Word. (Gonna charge the client full price for this one…..)

I know that iWork can export to PDF… would that work for you?

Or does the client absolutely “need” Word?
