Let’s put it to a vote:  Would you rather buy a 512MB SODIMM for your TiBook or iBook that conforms to the Apple specifications and costs a lot more (price=$600-$1000), or buy a 512MB SODIMM that violates Apple specs by stacking lower cost RAM chips and having twice the current draw, but paying a much llower price (around $125 to $130).
Take in mind, you have nearly twice the heat rising into the keyboard from the stacked, cheaper design.  I really want to know what everyone thinks about this subject.
Vote your mind.

Something must be said for staying inside spec. Drawing twice as much current through your board as you’re supposed to has the potential to be a Very Bad Thing. And nothing says warranty violation like slapping unauthorized components in your computer. I’ll choose neither of the 512 modules, thanks, until the price of the in spec module comes down.
