Are there any Observers going to the Apple Expo in Paris. Any forum members or moderators even. The Apple Expo is 26-30 September in Paris details can be found at most Apple sites by clicking the appropiate button. I’ll probably be going, even to the keynote. And I was wondering if there are others going.

Well, Bryan asked me to cover it, and promised that TMO would fund my travel expenses, food and lodging, plus a one-week, paid vacation to Burgundy, but when he said I’d have to find a room for less than $300/night, I told him the deal was off.

Heh….riiiiiiiiiiiiiiight.

Uh no, as of right now I don’t believe we have anyone covering the show on-site. icon_wink.gif

The real problem is that The Mac Observer Company Jet is having a bit of trouble right now.  Might be in the shop until after the show.

Can I borrow it after the repairs are done?  I know I’m only a moderator but I’d really appreciate it…

Ricky, you can find a really nice room in Paris for much less than 300$.
A 3-stars would be 100$, 4-stars 150/200$
So don’t doubt and fly!

Some friends of mine went to Paris this summer, to meet their son after he spent the summer in Spain and France. They got a hotel about three blocks from the Arch de Triomphe for half the price of a Holiday Inn near the airport. If you go, don’t be afraid to look around; travel agents probably get a cut from the Holiday Inn (and other chains).
