So I’m (finally) playing games on my Mac, and I figured I’d treat myself to a sweet little USB stick or controller.  Thing is, all my local Mac resellers aren’t home-and-consumer oriented, but are more targeted to creatives - they have nothing in stock, so buying from them means waiting around for shipping, and stuff. I figured since I’d have to wait anyway, I’d buy online.

I am by no means an experienced gamer, so I don’t know what’s a reliable brand to buy, whether pads are better than sticks, and so on, and so forth… I don’t buy online much either, so additionally I’m not sure how to go about that.

Any advice?  Who should I avoid?

BTW I’m looking (cautiously) at the Gravis Eliminator.  What a cool name. icon_smile.gif

Gravis has been long in the business for Mac stuff and their hardware is usually pretty good. Got two Joysticks myself, both ADB so their history now. The issue the more you pay, the better the hardware is is sometimes true but not always.
Good sites to check for Mac games and stuff are
a site with news, info and hard and software reviews.
It’s a magazine but they also provide information online.

They’re both in the States so getting a particular product can be difficult, and i’m not sure if they’re available on the Australian market.

*relieved*

Thanks. icon_smile.gif   I’m not too fussed about whether the product is available in Australia, cause I’m happy to pay Fed Ex shipping from the US… sites look good. Thankyou. icon_smile.gif
