As you have probably noticed, we have made some changes in the forums.  First of all, we have reorganized some of the forums and categories.

Admin Central is now called The Water Cooler, and it now includes the Announcements, Suggestions, & Comments forum as well as Siberia.

We also created a new Mac OS X category in order to make room for our new Mac OS X forum for advanced users called Hardcore X!  This is the place to go if you aren’t afraid of getting your hands dirty with the command line and other advanced features of Mac OS X.  Enjoy!

That brings us to to our two new Mods.  Wincent, co-author of our own Hot Cocoa column, and the proprietor of Wincent.org joins us a co-Mod for the new Hardcore X! forum.  dcantrel is also joining the ranks of mods as a TMO Mac Specialist and will be co-Mod with Wincent.  Give them a nice round of applause.

Lastly, it’s time to rename the MACWORLD Expo forum into Apple Expo Paris.  You can find it in the Cafй.

Thanks!

Welcome to the ranks, new mods!
It’s great to see the forums expanding into much needed areas like the hardcore X section. I hope this doesn’t mean that dcantrel will be visiting the help forums less! (But maybe this means that Wincent will drop by X Help occasionally.)  icon_smile.gif

What’s the difference between a Mac and a PC? Macs are designed, PCs are assembled.
