The kind people of NetApplications have posted on their web-site the internet usages statistics for September.

Here are some graphs I have created using their statistics, with some projections.

2904348588_a96d49269b_o.gif
All time high in Mac OSX presence on the internet….
Mac OSX, Mobile includes iPhone and iPod. Other Mobile OSs are Windows CE, Series60 and HipTop. Blackberry browsers are not recorded by NetApplications since they do not support Javascript (or so I was told) .

...nothing surprising. Normal seasonal increase.
2903504015_dc5b033d8f_o.gif
must fix the scale for next time, since new Macs sold could pass 6% in October.

This chart will be updated once Gartner publishes it’s market size estimates and Apple release their final sales.

Vista share is up .48%

OSX intel share is up .36%

This could mean that for september, the number of new Macs is about 80% the number of new Vista PC.

Are you sure?

Maybe they are running windows XP instead of vista.

That is why I wrote ‘new Vista PC’ but most consumer PC stay with Vista (not true for entreprise PC)
