New to Final Cut and Compressor
-
I am finishing my first real edit on FCP and exporting to compressor for a DVD burn.
My problem is that when I export my final edit to compressor only my end credits have made it into compressor. When I hit simulate in Compressor thats all I see in the button.
If anyone can help me or guide me to some one who can I’d appreciate it. Thnx

Dbl check to see that your timeline doesn’t have any in/out points on it. Could be that you have an IN/OUT selected. When you send to compressor it will only send that.
When I go to compressor I generally save as a reference movie… FILE - EXPORT - QTMovie. CURRENT SETTINGS and do not select self-contained. Then send THAT file to compressor.
Good luck,

It turned out to be an in point set at the credits. Thanks.
Now I have another question. In DVD Studio Pro I have dropped my AIFF and MP2 in my menu as assets then in the track area. I hit simulate and see my project. I know if I click in the button the video will play full screen in the simulate window as if in a DVD player but this does not happen. I burned the DVD and only have my menu window as a burn. What did I do wrong?

Help.

Did you connect the track to the button in the Inspector pane?
I know it is obvious, but sometimes those things get missed. If you did not point the button to the track it won’t go.
