iWeb - longer photo captions

I just got iWeb two days ago. I’m trying to make a fairly simple photo sharing site.

I think it’s going to work just fine, with one issue: I need to have a lot more lines than 7 to type in my caption. Probably up to 30 lines!

Is there any way to do this in iWeb? If I save my iWeb site to a folder, then edit my captions in a text editor, will my changes get over-written when I open the site in iWeb again to add more photos?

(Sorry I’m not very technically literate with web development.)

So basically what I’ve discovered over the past few days of fighting with it is that iWeb was a total waste of my time and money. It really does suck. And nobody cares.
