I accidently deleted the short cut to “Pictures” from the finder window—by dragging it out.  It’s a graphic icon that appears in the left side of the finder window.  It disappeared in that apple puff of smoke. How do I get it back?  Running OS 10.4.11 on a G5 Mac.  Thanks

You can find you Pictures folder inside your Home directory. On my computer, that would be Macintosh HD/Users/Jeff/Pictures

Just drag that folder back into your sidebar, and you are good to go. You can drag other folders there, too, so you don’t have spend extra time digging for the folders you use all the time.
