iTunes Content Links

At least once per week, I get an email about new or interesting iTunes Store content. When I click on a specific PodCast, movie, or music icon in the email, my web browser tries unsuccessfully to open it, when in fact, the link should open iTunes. This is also true when I am already in my browser and see a link to an interesting Podcast, or similar.

How can I fix this, so that the links like, “http://newmusic.itunes.com/redir/blahblahblah” actually open the iTunes app?

All links to iTunes content have to pass through the browser before it can hit iTunes unless it is a podcast RSS feed, in which you need to subscribe to that feed within iTunes.

There is no way around it unfortunately. Might want to check firewall or any Firefox add-ons you may have that could be interfering with the access of the webpage.

Like your reply in a previous post ( http://www.macobserver.com/tmo/forums/viewthread/76007/ ), you are not answering anything that was asked.  Nothing in your answer here has anything to do with my query.  It’s almost as though you are spamming.
