After I came back from dinner (monkfish fillet, marinated in lemon-infused extra-virgin olive oil, roasted at 170C for 45 minutes) this evening, I found this in my terminal window:
/Users/laurie> .////////
-bash: .////////: is a directory
/Users/laurie> ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

-bash: ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

/Users/laurie> yt.........Mmmmmmk.
She’s quite clever, my Lily. A proto-Unix-cat-geek. She’s even sent Tweets before, which is ironic for a kitten.

AHAHAHAHAHA
That’s a good one! The moral of this story: never let a Terminal window open when you have a kitty. :D

And now she’s changed the name of my external drive to - wait for it - “\3333333333333333333-99”. I don’t know how. Quelle bizarre.

It has her pawprints all over it. And it’s more likely than this:
Florida investigators say a man accused of downloading child pornography is blaming his cat.
Keith Griffin of Jensen Beach is charged with 10 counts of possession of child pornography after detectives found more than 1,000 images on his home computer.According to a sheriff?s report yesterday, Griffin told investigators that his cat jumped on the computer keyboard while he was downloading music. He said he had left the room and found ?strange things?? on his computer when he returned. He is being held on $250,000 bond.
