Sorry for being indelicate, but you are either a troll or a moron.

Hey, Mercel, please don’t bring religion into it! (jk)

A 1,000 apologies. smile

My final comment on this thread is that the guy has never flown on an airplane, wherein the airline attempts to charge for anything and everything.  His time would be better spent challenging their fee structure:  I pity the first airline he chooses when they attempt to charge him for going to the can…

THE END.  Sorry…I missed the earlier deadline.

One last clarity.  I did learn the truth of the memory situation by researching other means; but the apple reps clearly tried to mislead me by making me believe that the only way to get the 256 memory for the video board was to buy the upgraded model; not by just increasing the memory capacity.  If you all would stop and read what I have said instead of trying to twist everything you might wake up.  I’m done you are hopelessly brainwashed in your greed.

I can see this forum is not worth the memory used to support it.  And since some of you want to get into name calling; I’ll just say that most of you are just a bunch of greedy little nerds and I’ll bet you think our country is in fine shape and making all the right moves.  My only regret to buying a mac is that I may pad your Satonic pockets with more blood money.  You are the ones that will be in the front lines, whining the highest wondering how our country fell apart and how we have ever allowed it; as soon as you realize it has already happened.  The only part of it missing is for them to officially announce it so idiots like you become aware of the reality of it.  Enjoy you Satonic wealth for the little time you left to enjoy it.  The remainder of time is forever.  Of course you could wake up and save yourselves; that would be the best.

The word is satanic. From your name I would suspect you are of French extraction. This is YOUR country?

BTW If you purchased a Mac at least you would know how to spell. Little red lines appear under all those misspelled words!

Enough is enough can a MOD please LOCK this thread?

I’ve chosen to split papaouiee’s posts in the Snow Leopard pricing topic and all related replies into its own topic.

papaouiee, this is your personal topic to rant about $29 and $9.99 upgrades to Snow Leopard, the need to add more system memory on some Mac products to increase the memory allocation to the graphics sub-system, etc.

Other members: You are free to read, reply or ignore postings in papaouiee’s personal topic.

One last clarity.  MS is charging MORE for its Windows 7.  Did you know this?  Oh, but you get MORE from MS:  Viruses, Malware, Crashes and Spam.  So it’s not a fair comparison—Windows 7 wins after all!!

PLEASE don’t lock this thread!

I don’t plan to lock the topic at this time. Because the original poster’s rants moved from one topic to another I chose to corral the posts into one omnibus discussion about everything the poster has a complaint.

Smells like Woodward’s post about innovation from a week or so ago.

Stats indicate they are different persons.

Although the poster has fallen silent about his complaint concerning Apple charging for major commercial upgrades for Mac OS X when confronted with the fact Microsoft follows the same practice and charges significantly more than Apple and hasn’t fully addressed the fact that Windows OEMs and Apple make use of the same Intel boards on some products which share the board’s main memory for graphics sub-systems, the person apparently desires to single out Apple in posted rants.

Let’s enlighten rather than decry. Apple follows the law with regard to charging for major commercial OS upgrades and does provide updates between major commercial releases for free to users.

Looks like I stirred up the soup and ruffled a few feathers.  Too bad all that replied didn’t read what I said; only heard what they wanted to hear.  Seems you are all totally brain washed by the industries propaganda (even the government if the administrator is right); so much so that all you want to do is put me down.  I’ll find a forum to join where people can think for themselves and are not just like a herd of cattle that takes any BS that they are told to believe.

Do you like Obama?

Should the government help you out to stay “cool” with the latest and greatest?

{...hint, what does Capitalist Country mean to you? }

One last clarity.

Anyone who believes that Apple is corrupt, mendacious, greedy, et cetera has available a perfect remedy:  Simply refrain from buying Apple products and live happily ever after.

apple.  I’m amazed why we respond to such intentional anti-apple flaming.  Somehow I feel these guys are paid to come here to stir the pot.
