Any other state out there that shoot at by-passers???

Some parts of California, I hear.

And wherever Cheney happens to be loitering…

Does anyone know anything about the reports of the new iPhone 3GS having heat issues? The Inquirer has a piece about it.

It looks like Appleinsider has picked up on this now.

Reliable sources have told LOOPRumors that Apple?s CEO Steve Jobs will mark his first public appearance since his liver transplant surgery at a ?Special Event? to be held in August.
The iPods are most likely to see refreshes around this time, with recent rumors indicating that Apple will add camera functionality to both the iPod touch and iPod nano lines.
Additionally, recent news suggests the iMacs may see refreshes in time for the education buyers with price cuts.
Most importantly, however, the event should quell speculation of the condition of the CEO?s health.

Sounds like an Apple Netbook is in the works.

My secret source said Netbook. I know nothing: is a 10” laptop small enough to be considered a netbook?

Apple has announced that people need to make space for Jobs’ SL600 near the front door in the next few days.

Stock now building in Jobs’ parousia.

He actually drives a silver SL55 for reference and, despite rumors to the contrary, doesn’t park it in handicap spots.

That has to be a glitch. Although if I owned AIG stock, I would be selling as quick as humanly possible. grin

Edit- Fidelity also has AIG’s 52 week high as 621.80.

Okay, that makes sense for the tape, but why would they do such a high ratio split? Why not something like 10-1?

You could be right. Her last call came just as everything was about to tank. Now the quarter is done, this latest pump could well be what this is all about.

Don’t get me wrong I’m a big Apple fan boy, but the company and the stock are two different things, and I’d rather we got more consistent moves than this pump and dump roller-coaster ride. I’m just waiting for Maynard Um to come out with some completely illogical analyst note and lower his target to some stupidly low level only to retract it after earnings.

EDIT: Am I correct in thinking that most of the earlier buying pressure has evaporated? If this drops much further then that bullish break above yesterday’s inside day could turn very bearish.

Strange market in general today - ADP numbers worse than expected, ISM index worse than expected - and the market is up 100 points. Let’s celebrate the recession and ignore the reality! Long live the bubble!
