I am anxious to know what’s going on… It may be just a maintenance, but it has been out for last two days, and I am getting worried… There was no prior announcement by MacAddict staffs, no notice at imaginemedia.com, no news about it in any of Mac websites, NOTHING! Any info is appreciated.

Nothing on the grape vine (meaning that I personally haven’t heard anything through my various sources.  I would guess a server meltdown before anything else.

Thanks for replies.

How can it be possible? I have a cable modem and it is working fine, but everytime I type up the URLs “www.macaddict.com” or “macaddict.com,” I get “Netscape is unable to locate the server” message. Strange…

FWIW, I just tried going to MacAddict’s site and OmniWeb gave me the following:

Cannot Load Address

I have been able to get to the forum start page but not the individual forums. 2 days now and counting. Something has to be up.

maybe they changed IP’s or something and your DNS server’s hasn’t been updated yet.  I have seen this happen to major sites before where some people couldn’t get to them for 4 or 5 days.  That would be my guess.  If anyone knows teh old IP, you could see if it has changed.
