iMovie Quitting

Everytime I open up iMovie it goes through its startup and looks like it is ready to go, but then when I try to do anything with it, it quits. I am using it on an Mac Pro. It did this with both 10.5 and now with 10.6. I had hoped that 10.6 would have taken care of it.

Probably an obvious suggestion, but have you tried removing and reinstalling imovie?

Thanks, but i did try it, to no avail. Still quits. Any other suggestions?

Which version of iMovie?

When you uninstalled iMOvie - did you also clear the iMovie preferences?

I would also try this.. create a temporary NON-Guest account. Log into that account and try to open iMovie.. see if that works..
