Mac 10.6 Printer Not working

  Just wondering if anyone out there knows where to get a print driver for the Samsung ML-1770 that is compatible with Mac 10.6. I’ve tried the Samsung website and searching the web.

  If SpliX doesn’t work, you may also want to look at Gutenprint.  It does not list the ML-1770 as a compatible printer, but it does list the ML-1750, which may be similar enough to be of use.  I have had lots of success with the Gutenprint drivers in the past.

  My office’s Ricoh Aficio wouldn’t work at all with SL. The download from Apple’s corresponding page seemed to take care of it. Also, for anyone else interested, that was

  I just replaced “ricoh” with “samsung” in .html, and sure enough, bingo, this came up. Likewise for lower-case hp and epson as well, so I assume this applies comparably to all brands.
