live event updates

There are quite a few sites webcasting and updating the event. What are your favourites?
Are they fast? contain pics?
Please put your suggestions in this threadhere is one

Engadget and Gizmodo both seem to update relatively quickly, are large, established sites so they can handle the traffic, and in my experience they have they largest, clearest pictures of any live-blogging site.

Wed, 09/09/2009 - 06:12 ? adminWe’re rolling out our good ol’ fashioned 9to5mac Livepanel which will be circulating the best feeds throughout the iPod event. As you might remember, this framed page shows four of the best feeds at once and is refreshed every 15-30 seconds so your mouse button finger doesn’t have to bleed. It works best on large (24”+) monitors and uses 1990’s html frames technology to bring sweet, sweet iPod camera information to your eyes as quickly as possible.
We are also Tweeting the event on the 9to5mac twitter account and trying to get an audio or video feed of the event. We’ll just pop it in if we find one. Have fun!
They are also rumoring the notion that while there may not be a hardware update to AppleTV, a software update will enable web browsing.

I have decided to just load gizmodo and engadget on my browser tabs and click back and forth.

Leaked iPod Touch cases proved to be a head fake. But the 16G iPod Touch is MIA.

There actually could be a camera shortage!
The touch and iPhone could be using the same camera.
iPhone sales seem to be ROBUST!
That would imply that Apple knew they couldn’t get enough cameras and then changed the case design to eliminate the camera hole. I think it’s more likely the third party case makers fell victim to the rumor as well. Otherwise we should have heard long ago a rumor about the Touch not having a camera.
